A line keeps going through my head. It's a question: "Is it a good tired?" At some point in my life, I got that as a response a lot when I told someone I was tired. The insinuation is that there's regular tired and a tired that you get from putting in a good, honest days work. The question feels very Texan, at least very Southern. It doesn't feel like a regular NYC thing that I would hear.
I feel like I was put through the ringer today. I'm just plain old tired and glad it's over. Work totally took it out of me.
All I want to do is knit a couple of swatches and watch a stupid movie on television. Speed is on Dutch TV. Fred said, "It's such a good movie except for Kianu Reeves."
I said, "I know, right?"
